Built in 1882 and lovingly refurbished in 2014 to comprise ten beautifully appointed Manor Studios and Suites.

The Manor House

At Merivale Manor’s heart is the heritage listed Manor House. The high studded ceilings and generously proportioned rooms provide unusually large space to relax and unwind.  The Persian carpets and other artefacts are from the owners personal collection.  Period artwork adorns the walls to give the traveller a real sense of the life and times of the building.

Luxury linens, plush comfortable bedding and pillow menu soften the hardships of the day.  The stylish and modern kitchenettes provide convenience for that in-house light bite and cool beverage.  The cleverly appointed bathrooms are en-suite, some with stunning double showers.  Private parking is readily available at the rear of the Manor House.  Stay in a piece of beautifully restored New Zealand history.

Book the entire Manor House or simply a Suite or two - the experience will be unforgettable.
